How We Work
Having met the client, taken a brief and agreed the person specification we agree and prepare a short job description suitable for passing to potential candidates during the course of our search.
Advertised appointments
- Where it is appropriate to advertise an appointment we handle the copywriting, media selection and placing of the advertisement.
- We handle the responses, and then screen and interview selected candidates in order to arrive at a shortlist for presentation to the client.
- We write to all rejected candidates.
Search assignments
- Although we maintain a substantial database, every search assignment starts with desk research to identify all sectors and organizations where people with the appropriate experience might be found.
- Our researchers identify and list the names of all the relevant individuals within those sectors.
- Our database then provides us with additional names as well as referees on names we are considering.
- We produce a long list of relevant candidates for discussion with the client. From that, a shortlist is selected.
- We make the initial approaches, carry out the preliminary interviews and arrange for the client to interview the selected candidates.
In all cases we will assist in the process of salary negotiation, take up references, check qualifications and deal in a sensitive manner with all rejected candidates.
